Sold my soul...

For a Prius. 2010 Package V with all the bells and whistles.

It drives like a fat handicapped whale. A technologically advanced fat handicapped whale. SOOOO much different than the 2000-era cars I'm used to.

Also, just so it doesn't get lost in the replies below:

Prius owners w/ smart keys, how many keys did you get when you bought your car?

I'd point & laugh, but my car only gets 20 MPG, so enjoy your gas savings you treehugger! :awe:

Man, Souls are not worth what they used to be.
You used to be able to sell one for massive amounts of wealth and power, now you can just get a Prius. 😉

I'm getting my soul back middle to late next year by getting rid of our 2012 Prius. Originally bought in haste after an accident and having a 65 mile roundtrip commute at the time. Now down to about 8.

Gas isn't nearly expensive enough yet for me to consider such a gonad trimming car.

For my situation...

18k miles/year @ 45mpg = 400 gallons, @ 25mpg = 720 gallons

320 gallons/year x$4/gallon x 10 years = a lot of money over time

it's actually not my car, it's for the fiance. i ride a gonad trimming scooter.

 Enjoy the fuel savings. I bought my Camry Hybrid XLE (XLE=all the bells and whistles) the first week of March 2013 and I already have over 16,000 miles on it.

I liked the Camry Hybrid because it is actually faster than the 4-cyl Camry but gets 40mpg city and it still looks like a normal car.

So glad I don't have to worry about gas milage. Only drive 5k a year thanks to a provided vehicle for my job. Love my trucks but couldn't afford it otherwise.

Prius is a great choice for getting the gas mileage. Likely be my choice if that's what I needed.

This and some sick camber. 😉

Selling your soul is filling up a vehicle all the time and giving your money away for nothing. I had close to two years of doing that in a f150 and just had to grin and bear it when the pump was showing $80+ at each fill up and believe me there wasn't much time between fuel stops. Now I'm rocking a honda fit and when I do stop it's always around $30 or less to fuel up. The car is paying for itself.

what, no M3? fail 😛

You know, the E36 was the first real car I fell in love with. I found a super minty one while I was looking at cars for 10k. It only had like 50k miles and looked perfect.

I'd love to be able to afford an E46 one of these days.
