I don't wanna rip him off, and nothing is available at newegg anymore to see what it's worth (the thing is already sold and paid for, just want to know if i gave him a bargain or if I should give him some cash back. I sold the following for $400 (prices shown are what I paid in June/07):

- GIGABYTE GA-P35-DQ6 LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - $249.99
- HIPER HPU-4K530-MS 530W ATX12V v2.2 SLI Ready Modular Power Supply - $69.99
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80557E6600 $222.90
- G.SKILL 4GB DDR2 1066 (I believe) - forget what i paid.
- EVGA 320-P2-N811-AR GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - $279.99
- (2x) Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250620AS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive (Perpendicular Recording) -Bare Drive - $139.98
- Antec Performance One P180B Black 0.8mm cold rolled steel for durability through the majority of chassis 1.0mm - $129.99

Also 2x Dell 19" 1901FP monitors (old but I always liked them) and mouse/keyboard of course.

Great deal. Case, psu, and memory alone would still be running you 250-300 nowadays. Plus 2 monitors? Nice bit of cash for you, great deal for him. Win-win.

You definitely did not rip off your friend. The fact that you even cared enough to post speaks of your character. More of us could use friends like you. :)

Wahhhhhhh! Wahhhhhh! Nobody was harmed in the price check.

OP. It's a fair price. I would pay around that for an 8800gts 320mb/E6660 system. It'll be a long time til' it's actually outdated.

fair enough, mostly because the case is the one thing that holds value, and the lcds.
the rest depreciated like crazy

Well, the RAM may have actually appreciated if he got one of the $20-$40/4GB deals. Or at least not depreciated.

Not to start this up again, but there is a price and a check involved...therefore price + check = price check.

Now to be a hypocrit, not a bad deal. If you wanted to rip him off, you'd put an Alienware sticker on it and sell it for 3 large.

yep, my main gaming comp is still running a 6420 and, up until recently, had an 8800GTS 320mb. Ran just about everything like a champ.

If anything, he is taking advantage of you. He definitely got a steal, especially with the monitors. I would buy that if someone offered it to me!
