Well, you did screw up (kind of funny but no harm done). What you paid is of no importance.

The fact is that you stated a price and she agreed. That's that. She has no legal claim what so ever.

Ignore her, or refund the camera if she's more trouble than it's worth.

But in any case legally she's got nothing.

I don't know what craiglist is.

You lied, she didn't research. If you're guilty of perjury or fraud, return it. Else, don't.

You liar.
LOL... It would be her word against his.. It wouldn't go anywhere in small claims.

Besides, who cares? Why does she feel cheated if he paid less than retail?

well i hope you guys met somewhere *other* than your house. cuz if she's pissed off enough, she's gonna come mess you up!

You intentionally lied to her. She has a right to be upset. Put yourself in her shoes for a second. How would you feel?

yay..both the losers win! 🙂 jk man heh...nice lying skillz tho..you are ELITE!

If she has the emails, you can get prosecuted. Email messages are perfect evidence in the courtroom due to them being timestamped no matter what the circumstance.

dood just make up more lies. Tell her that the receipt doesn't include accessories or warranty or whatever that was on a separate receipt.

Or just tell her you're dying of cancer and need the money badly.

man both of you are fvucking retards. her for not looking for the price online and you for lieing and then giving her the reciept.

but glad you posted this. heh now i know NOT to buy from you.

Should've told her "retail price is $400"
then when she asks how much you paid for it "how much do you think? I just told you the price to retail it"

that way it's not technically a lie. 😀

Actually the better way is telling her you got it as a gift, but the retail price for it is $399. You have a better camera and you are letting it go for $300.

Ignore her. She is stupid. She's pissed because she got shafted, you are under NO obligation to tell her how much you paid and if you do, you are under no obligation to be truthful about it.

Tell her to go ahead and try and take you to court because there is nothing she can do about it. Then type "Wahh wahhh wahhh. Do your homework."

a) No. Just no.
b) Emails aren't sh!t for evidence unless this is Judge Judy. They can easily be doctored to look real and not just be the best of the best... 12 year olds can make fake emails from people.
c) WHAT GROUNDS ARE THEY GOING TO PROSECUTE HIM ON? LYING TO OLD LADIES? Last time I checked, it might be a bit underhanded, but sure as hell isn't a crime.

Think before posting.

Well apparently she feels like a whinner and a idiot because she wasn't a savvy consumer.
