Solaris x86 with AMD ?

Hi,
I'm a loyal intel customer , but want to try AMD(athlon) now since it's cheaper than intel.
Does any body here have any experience installing Sun Solaris x86 ver 8.0 on AMD CPU? Will it give me problems?

I dont know an answer for this. But I wouldnt see why it wouldnt. It runs everything else fine like linux etc...
