Sorta, AFAIK you can't download it anymore, but you can buy the full CD set with manuals and all for $75.

But really, Solaris for x86 isn't terribly useful.
The only reason to run it is if you wanna learn Solaris and haven't got access to a SPARC box.

Solaris and SPARC are meant for each other ;)

Solaris on INTEL is a discontinued product and all development and support has been terminated, SUN announced last week they will be developing their own version of Linux.

first of all, i thought for intel solaris would be like linux, and i could download it in several mirrors ...

but i just got to visit the sun site, and i've just visited sun.com and figured out it payed :///

i filled some forms there and i'm just waiting for the answers ...
