Soggy Bottom Boys... That's not really George Clooney singing... Is it?

I actually really like the song "Man of Constant Sorrow" which is attributed to the "Soggy Bottom Boys" on MP3 and on the video (actually saw it on TV the other day). But on the video they show George Clooney singing the whole song using clips from the movie "O' Brother Where Art Though?". I know he lip synched it for the movie, but that's not REALLY him singing.... is it?

He can't sing according to HIM! Saw an interview with him and he was a good sport about his vocal shortcomings.

I saw an interview in which he said he had practiced for weeks for the singing part of that song. The Cohen brothers gave him a chance, and according to him, they just kind of looked at each other when he was done, not wanting to be cruel. So, he graciously told them to bring in their guy instead.
