Software to watch a DVD

I was wondering if anyone knows of some software that plays DVDs that is free, or shareware and allows you to watch for a certain amount of time. My ATI DVD Player has ceased to work (I'm in college, the disc is at home), and I want to watch this movie I rented!!! Any links would be appreciated. (The best I have found is some player that lets you watch for 5 minutes.)

Sorry, because of licensing royalties, there's no real freebies as far as software dvd decoders. But ask around your dorm or apartment complex, I'm sure someone can help you out.
