Software to use two Cable connections on one computer?

I'm going to try to set up one computer to share (and load balance) two internet connections.. Is this possible?

There was a software, it had a weird name, I can't find it... thats the problem, I can't remember the name.. but someone here should know.. it even throw a 56k in there if u want to use a phone line...

cuz they dont post a price

you should be able to do this in linux for free
all you need is an old 486 and 3 nics and lots of time
or buy this router
