Software to use a dummy termial in windows?

I have an old dummy terminal (serial terminal), in Linux I use it to log into a shell and usually run top to monitor my system. The terminal is connected to my computer via a Null Modem cable to my serial port. But I want to know if I there is any software for windows that I can run that can send data to the serial port like a command prompt or the system stats. Any suggestions on how I can utilize this terminal in windows?
