Software to resize mpeg from (to fit on a DVD)

Just wondering for videos taken with a digital video camera what is the best /easiest to use software to shrink down the video to fit on a DVD if its longer.

This is similiar to how DVD Shrink might shrink VOB stuff down to fit on a single DVD-R

Try VirtualDub if u just need split them and perhaps cut some frames or else

Thanks. But is VirtualDub only for AVI stuff?

From it's website it says:

VirtualDub is mainly geared toward processing AVI files, although it can read (not write) MPEG-1 and also handle sets of BMP images.

Easiest way would be to use nero (nero vision), just download a demo

Just about any DVD authoring program will resize your video to fit on the DVD. Its very likely that the software bundle that came with your DVD burner includes an authoring program.

If not, TMPGenc Author is a great DVD authoring program.
