Hi,

I'm looking for a software that can monitor other software's installation. For example, if I install some crappy software (shouldn't do it in the first place, I know :)), it will report me what changes were made in registry, if it replaced, deleted or changed any files on the system, and which ones ...

Also there normally any software has a set of options. Where are they saved? I want to be able to trace it out ...

I wan't to be able to check whether the uninstall of a specific software really deletes all traces of themself, to maintain some system reliability.

Is there any software that can do this? (Free or Payed, don't matter)

Thank you.

Altiris rapidinstall sorta works. You build a baseline, install the app, and build the rip. The rip has all changes made to the system (files on HDD, registry changes). Kinda ghetto though.

I'll check them out, thanks.

Any more apps around for me to check?

Thanks
