i have 3 computers on a home network sharing a cable connection, i would like to monitor how much each computer is downloading off the internet.

is there a software to do this with?

thanx 🙂

What are you using to share your connection? Hardware router or software ICS on one of the boxes?

edit- oh u want by network client.. well like it seems usually in these matters, if you had a linux connection server I'm sure theres a geek somewhere who wrote software to do what u need.. but setting it up could be time consuming. not sure of windows based solutions
or of course an expensive router that can generate these statistics, I'm sure cisco makes plenty that would suit the needs. but I'm sure thats not the route you'd go unless its a good sized business funded network

Hmmm, well you can Download Netstat Live from AnalogX. It will monitor network thoroughput on any machine you install it on. If you installed it on the ICS box then you could monitor all of the usage on your cable connection. Or, you could install it on one of the client machines to monitor it's usage.

Were you looking for something that you could install on the ICS box that could tell you what each individual client is using?

Looks like the AnalogX site is painfully slow right now. If you have trouble downloading it I can email it to you. It's very small.
