Software to locate what is taking up what on a drive?

So my C drive is about to burst. Is there any program which will find out what folder/files are taking up space on the drive? It can make it easier to clean it up a bit.

Thank you!

I use XPLORER2 LITE, a free 'file manager' type of program that displays Folder Sizes (that's an option).

I used to love XTREE GOLD because it had the ability to display all files in a Mass File Listings screen, and I could re-sort by size to find all the largest, 'tag' them and then zip or move 'em off, in a mass-move operation, regardless of their original folders. How dangerous that was! But it was soooo handy.

Try TreeSize Free...that prog is good also to manually compare folders/files - for duplicates..

btw...aren't you saving too much data to desktop folders?

3rd for windirstat. I use it all the time when I'm trying to free up space on servers.

Also been using TreeSize & TreeSize Free forever. Workstations and servers alike, it's my #1 tool for finding wasted space.

Me too! It was so good that I have kept using it when it changed to ZTree for Windows. All of the old global commands and actions are there. I currently use version 2.2.19. http://www.ztree.com/
