Software that listens to mp3's in high-speed

Looking for a piece of software, preferably freeware, that will scan an MP3 file, and quickly (faster than it takes me to listen to the whole thing) scans to see if the file was compressed/made properly, without random clicks, hisses, pops, etc., that are generally undesirable on an MP3 file.

If anybody knows such a program, please inform me, thanks! =)

Nero has a program that comes with their suit which will correct clipping/pops and filter them out so it doesn't blast your ear drums. You have to load it file by file, though.
