Not sure if this is the right forum...
I'm choosing between the Gigabyte Z170 UD3 and the Gigabyte Z170 Gaming 5. One of the features of the Gaming 5 is that it includes SoundBlaster X-Fi mB3 software, which includes EAX support. I'll probably be playing a few older games, so I'm wondering if this would actually be worthwhile. I'm also planning on picking up a pair of surround headphones- would the software be redundant then?
