Software reading of +12v and +3.3

I understand that to get a sure reading its best to use a meter. However I don't have one and electricity is not my strong suit. I call an electrician for any household problem because I just don't trust myself with any possibility of shock.

Okay so I've had my trusty ENERMAX Noisetaker EG701AX-VE going on 2-1/2 years and it has done more than serve me well through countless motherboards and a variety of hardware, including current and past SLI setups. However, I have noticed on my last two motherboards that BIOS and software reads the +12V at around 11.9xxx and the 3.3 at 3.26xx. When it used read over 12 and 3.

I've been thinking about buying a new one lately but since I wasn't haven't any stability issues even with overclocking I figured leave well enough alone until it goes bad. So now I have a person I built a PC for about 3-4 years ago and the power supply has taken a dump. So I'm thinking I'll give my Enermax to them and install it for free since it is used and they just want their PC up and running.

So my question is do you guys think this power supply is on its last leg and I'll probably end up replacing it again in a few months to a year time? Or do those readings fall within the expected voltages?

I will probably purchase the PC & Power 750 Silent for myself. Good idea?

As you already know, software's not accurate.

But 11.9 and 3.26V are way way way way within spec. Spec is -/+ 5%!

But if you've got a use for the old Enermax and have your sights already set for a replacement, why ask?

Thanks for the reply, I just don't want to give this one away and in a week or two it dies. But if those numbers are way within spec, I'm happy. This has to be the oldest part in my PC at the moment.
