first question is there a freeware replacement for Catalyst for ATI cards?
because Catalyst sux.

second question, does anyone know why i cant get Firefox2 working on my win2k pc?
it installs but it just wont start. i tried to kill the non working process but no luck so i have to reboot to kill it.

thx for any help.
 
yeah i dunno about the firefox i just downloaded the installer and attemted to just install over the existing and have it auto upgrade but it would not start.
then i rebooted because i couldnt kill the process ,renamed the folder and installed it
in a new folder and still the same.

i guess i should try an uninstall of 1.5x nex.
it was like this a couple months ago, i went thru this before.
 
I was wondering to read the same problem on another forum but amazingly it is working fine on my system and it is my favorite browser.
