Software Password Protection

Hi,

I run Thunderbird as my email software and want to have it prompt the user for a password before launching the program. Can you recommend a piece of software for the job?

I'm interested in this too. I tried Thunderbird once before to try to manage all of my email accounts, but I did not like the fact that when trying to log in with the credentials for one of the accounts, if I hit cancel instead of logging in, I could see any emails already in the client and even delete them. So I just decided to stick with using the accounts through the browser like normal.
