I like the command line FTP over filezilla, I like most anything over trillion (gaim being my first pick).

smart ftp for ftp

paint .net for image editing

I'm not unhappy with any of these, but I haven't changed which apps I've been using for a long time and figured there might be better alternatives.

I am looking for touch utility that will let me right-click on a file and/or folder and let me touch that file and/or folders (and all sub-folders).

I had no idea that Gaim [http://sourceforge.net/projects/gaim/] was available for the Windows 2X/XP platform. Thanks for the info, I'll check it out.
