Let's say I had my own PC business and I wanted to be able to legally install Win2K, for example, on my PC's. How would I go about getting bulk licenses at a discount price? I know other companies do it. I guess you would have one full packaged copy of the OS and then a pool of legal licenses? Can any company do this? If so, where should I look into doing this? Thanks.....

If you are talking about licensing your own PC's:

For > 5 and < 250 copies, you join Microsoft's Open License program from an authorized reseller. link You can then purchase the CD's for around $20 and buy a license for every computer you have. At that level, the discount isn't really much. If you are talking > 250 licenses, then the discounts start getting deep.

If you are talking about installing on PC's you are selling, then you just purchase OEM licenses from your distributor and sell those with your PC's.
