Software Install problem in Win 10

Having an issue install software recently under 10. An itunes update showed up about a week ago and when I try to install it I would get an error. So I tried manually downloading the update and running that outside of the update program and it still failed. I then went to instal by running the full itunes install program and that also failed.

I then tried to install adobe Reader and that install also failed.

What is keeping me now from installing anything?

If you can't correct the registry I'd suggest a clean install after tomorrows Redstone update is released.

Decided it seemed like maybe there was a problem with an update install that either should have restarted the machine or failed to, so I manually did a restart and everything installed fine after that.
