I need a Logo for, "UrbanTech Productions". Can anyone make a good one and i'll reward em ;) :D. Or know of a program that can? My sister can do it, but she never does anything for me. :(. I hear it's vector based programs, if so I have all that stuff. I just need to know what to use. Thanks!

Try photoshop. If you know what you're doing, you can make some pretty good stuff.

By "logo", do you mean a Windows startup logo, or are you talking about something for putting on letterhead stationery, or something else altogether?

I've had a blast making Win9X-style startup / shutdown splash screens for friends before. It can be time-consuming to get a logo.sys with animation to come out right, but it's not especially difficult to do. In NT / W2K I guess you have to replace a bitmap resource in the welcome.exe file. I've been toying with the idea of trying it.

Oh, I've got ya now. Yes, I'd think Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro would do a good job for this. Have fun! it's been too long since I got to play, I think I'm gonna play with some graphics!

What do you want the logo to convey? What is the business of the company? I'll bet I could make a great logo. (Well, I would think it was great. I have a tendency toward a humorous approach. Most entrepeneurs don't approve. :Q )

You should make it a contest. Can you imagine the weirdness that would ensue?

Jim

Well, I make burned CDs for freinds and other people. I want a logo that says, UrbanTech Productions. Here is an example of what i'd like it to look like, Goto 480 x 60

The hi-tech ones looks great. I'll be home soon, if anyone wants to talk to me about it.

Bragging rights? Actually the prize doesn't matter so much as the chance for people to put their bad work up, and flame each each others' efforts. :D

Actually, I doubt that you'll get anything directly useful. But you might get some ideas.

Jim
