A few friends and I have been working on a game targeting mobile devices and we should be ready to release it in a few months. Unfortunately, that means we need to start some kind of LLC or S-Corp to hide behind and we just can't seem to come up with something to use as a name.

Any suggestions? We are looking for something not too serious and a bit web 2.0ish. The game we are working on is essentially a tactical RPG.

You gotta give us more info than that. Tactical RPG? Modern? Medieval? Futuristic? Factions? etc. The name of the game will reflect that.

Well, we don't really want to base the name of the company on the game. This game seems really great to us, but it could be a total piece of garbage to everyone else. We are trying to find something that just 'sounds right' that we can use for any future endeavors if this game bombs (which let's be honest, is likely).

But hell, chances are we will get this game on the app store and it could be the last thing we ever do. It's just been a long dream of ours to make a Tactical RPG. It takes place in a steampunkish world and has gameplay with heavy throwbacks to games like shining force, advance wars, and fire emblem.

i always hate trying to come up with names for other people, because i usually find a few that i want to use for myself.

i say you call it "Ask Steve Productions".
