omfg I can't stand it. Fvcking morons are driving me CRAZY. Can we please split GAMES off of the applications/programming forum? Fvcking idiots don't seem to understand that just because a game isn't "applications" or "programming" means that it doesn't belong in the software catagory. It's like they completely ignore the whole GAMES portion of the forum.

People posting in the wrong forum CONSTANTLY are driving me completely INSANE!!! :|

here's an idea..... why don't we move up the software forum from the bottom of the ditch, and maybe more people will know it's there

Yeah, they're getting worse. And worse. And worse. I would seriously be calm and happy if I could just move them to another forum the second I see them.

It's not AT's fault that idiots run into Off Topic with the eyes closed, body on fire, waiving their arms around and screaming for help with something that they can do on their own if they just TRY on their own.
 
If all you have to worry about is where people are posting their messages, then I think you should jump in one of those minivans with those people in japan.

Funny. Just looked at Nik's last few threads he created (this is all of them in the last week - and read through almost all have been told that they were in the wrong forum by other users).

[*] An OS post in Off Topic.

[*] A virus post in Forum Issues

[*] A Forum Issue post in Off Topic.

[*] Wow an Off Topic post in Off Topic, but a repost.

[*] A Technical Support issue in Off Topic

[*] And of course this thread. If Nik would have gone here he would have seen Google will give him links to posts that were previously made in Anandtech Forum Issues about splitting games off from the software/application forums. I think Nik needs to see this. 😉

1) Rant, not OS issue -even stated in the thread you boneheads.
2) FI because it came from an Anandtech mailbox and I wanted to let AT know as well as other forum members -I wasn't asking for help.
3) Wrong forum, should have been in FI. It got locked. Good. I was wrong.
4) Reposts are not wrong forum posts. I didn't search; that was my mistake.
5) Rant, not a technical support issue. Where did I ask for technical support?

For the love of all that is procedural and register-based, can we possibly please split off the "programming" threads into another seperate forum from the "software and games" (user-oriented) forums? It's quite the strange combination, IMHO.
