soft reboot doesn't work

I just changed my mobo to an ABIT KA7-100 and switched OSes to win2k. Everything seems great except when I soft reboot, from the start menu or when programs prompt me to, the computer will freeze during boot up (right before the win2k boot loader) or it won't start up at all. Pressing the hard reset button works fine though. Any ideas as to what's wrong?

Thanks

Are you sure you plugged the swithches into the right spots on the mobo? If the reset switch isn't plugged into the right spot you can have this problem.

also check and see if your bios is configured correctly, maybe messed up setting with new install.

hahahahaha
I can't believe it! It happens to me too! I'm using the TY-RAID BIOS on mine... mine locks up right before doing the memory test. Ctrl+Alt+Del does it again, but the reset button cures it. Interesting... :Q

I checked the manual again and everything is plugged in correctly. Do you think it has something to do with RAID? I have it enabled and I'm using it as well. Hhhhhmmmmm.
