TigerDirect have 256MB SODIMM sticks of PNY SDRAM for $34.99 - $20MIR + S&H ($9 for me). Rebate is from PNY, specific to TigerDirect, and limit one per customer. I'd be interested if anyone knows any better deals on sodimms.

I've been looking to upgrade my laptop's memory, but I don't know much about it. Its a Toshiba Satallite 2800-s202 and according to crucial, it uses 144-pin sodimm's at pc100. Will this pc133 run allright? Its just like a computer, so it'll work, but run at pc100, right?
Thanks!

Uhh... be careful, not ALL 133 is compatible with 100. I picked up a stick of the cheapie kingston 256 pc133. Failed to run in my thinkpad t20 (100 mhz), but worked fine in my t23 (133 mhz). I'm not an electrical engineer, but my guess is that the really bargain basement is missing a few wires that will let it auto-adjust.

I will never buy for these guys again. I purchase some ram from them a while back. It had a $19.99 rebate.
I sent them documents and they claimed I didn't. Long story short sent them documents 3x and 8 months later
I got my rebate. Not worth the hassle. If you go with this deal, I highly suggest you keep copies of everything.
