This one speaks the truth. A "Coke" can mean many different kinds of soft drinks. "What kind?" is generally the follow-up question to hearing "I want a Coke." "Pop" just seems sacreligious to a fellow drinker of caffienated, carbonated beverages.

I've quit drinking it all together since then. I never said drinking it in excess was a good idea, but like everything else in moderation it's ok.

I've never heard anyone call it sasparilla in my life. Soda Pop is a person's name.

I drink diet Coke all the time (its what my whole family drinks so) except for an occasional Dr. Pepper treat so I don't have to worry about diabetes.
