Soda makes me "have to go"

I don't understand it. Pepsi and Coke used to make me have to use the restroom for a while, so I stopped drinking those. Now, 5 years later, I drink a Jones, which is 100% pure can sugar with no crap in it, and it still makes me get an upset stomach.

What am I doing wrong?

I remember there was a period of time where if I drank a can of pop, I'd go to the washroom like ever 15 to 20 min for the first hour or so. Now I don't get that as much, but sometimes it still happen to me....Any ideas why?

Caffeine = diuretic.

I think the OP is saying soda makes him go #2 not #1. And yes caffeine is a diuretic, it'll make you go #1 especially if you are sensitive. And I have no idea how anyone can say sugar is poison to the body. So... eating breads, fruits, etc = bad?

I think he meant processed, mono/disaccharides (sucrose mainly). The body doesn't really respond well to those and they will often have a negative affect on the body (insulin spike, fat storage, low blood sugar afterwards).

I would say eating bread is indeed bad, at least if you eat as much as the average American. We eat far too many carbohydrates, and that's why everyone is fat and sick.
