I've never played socom1 or 2 before i got 2 today. I'm pretty bad @ it, any1 have any tips? Should I use Sure shot, or Precision Control? Should I play the 1st few levels of socom1 to get used to moving around, shooting, etc.? (Or are the 1st few levels of socom2 suffiicient?) Oh, and which headset is the best to get: logitech, sony, or something else?

Thnx

well i got used to precision, but i'm still pretty bad @ it...I'll listen to any tips u or any1 else can give though 🙂 I mostly play on crossroads, foxhunt, and fish hook. (I just got SC😛andora Tomorrow too, and I've only been able to play online on it for 5mins total so far; 's in me other thread, hehe)

I would practice with the silent guns. Once you have those down, you will own the game. Other than that the M14 and IW-80 are the best guns to play with. On fishhook if your terrorist, try to get the seals to kill the hostages, by putting them by C4 breaches or where they throw grenades.

What do you think about smg's? Are they any good? I know they're pretty weak but they're supposedly easier to get headshots with; I've pretty much only used assault rifles and I'm not good enough to get deliberate headshots, lol.

I have had some success with the HKSD. I just shoot in the upper body and hope for a head shot. But I would just stick to the assualts. You should be playing pretty good in a few weeks time.
