Is there any SocketA DDR Motherboards witch supports more than 4 IDE Drives?

any of the raid boards can also be used as 4 extra drives (8 total drives)
epox 8k7a+, 8kta3+
asus a7v133
etc etc :)

Assuming talking about on-board, yeah any RAID mobo will be able to do that. A few boards:

IWill KA266-R (MAGiK1 chipset not recommended)
MSI KT7266-Pro-RAID
Abit KG7-RAID, probably best of all.

GA-7DXR allows you to use the RAID channels as ATA100 ports with one or two drives each. Basically, I oculd have 4 drives on the RAID and some stand alone IDE drives on the other. Drives love their own channel....
