Socket A Specification

Hell-o guys !

I`ve been searching for specifications, dimensions etc. for Socket A, but my search was unsuccesfull, so if anybody has some materials, I would like to have them 😀

Would a mechanical drawing of a SocketA CPU help you? If so, look at page 42 of this PDF file and they show a mechanical drawing of an AthlonMP.

Thanks mechBgon, but I really need exact dimensions of socket itself, not
the CPU. I have the CPU in front of myself, so it is easy to measure it.

I think I`ll contact AMD and see if they can help.

If you can't get anywhere with that, then LMK and I can get out my Mitutoyo digital calipers and give you dimensions tomorrow, unless you need, like, a full CAD model's-worth of data.

This is a Foxconn Socket 462 design

I am sure others will vary, but not by a great deal.
