I was about to get an Asus A7V, but learned yesterday that first shipments of these will not have multiplier adjustments, but later production will. Are there any socket A boards available now or in very near future that will do this? my Duron is early production and is likely not multiplier locked. I can always try Tom's trick.

I believe all production CPUs are locked, and not directly multiplier-overclockable by these DIP switches on A7V. However, there might be more to Duron's and Thunderbird's multiplier lock, and it might be possible to unlock it via motherboard modifications. We'll just have to wait and see.
