I picked up a Opteron 275 and 4 Gigs of DDR ECC Reg memory for dirt cheap. I don't want to run a server and I don't want to resell this . I just want a home computer good enough to do some browsing and internet . I just need a motherboard but I can't find one under 250 and if I do it has a AGP or just regular old PCI slots. I need a PCI-E x16 slot because I don't want to buy another video card since I currently have a 8600GT . Can you guys give me a few options and your thoughts on this Processor ?
