Socket 940 nforce board

I'm hearing a lot of good thing about nforce boards, and cruising pricewatch.com I saw that ASUS makes a nforce based socket 940 board. So I ask you, is this a good buy for gaming purposes? It is a little on the pricey side, but I figure in the couple months I'm ready to buy I can afford it.

Is it overclockable? Will it take a 146 Opteron? Are there any other manufactorers that produce a board like this? Any info would be a big help, thanks!

EDIT: I forgot you have a Opteron already. I suppose the SK8N would be a good pick, but bump for user experience ^

i'd stick w/ socket 939 too, more flexibility to upgrade in the future

opteron 146 is socket 940 not socket 939. SK8N is socket 940 and is argueably the most enthusiastic socke 940 platform out their. It does overclock and is a great mobo

You're right, exactly what I needed to know, thank you. Is there a nforce 4 based socket 940 board out there yet or am I asking for too much? heh ... I can't imagine I'd be able to find in stock if it does exist...
