I don't know if it is but I'm looking for a board with

1. AGP/PCI lock
2. 800 mhz HT
3. Soundstrom quality audio
4. up to 1.8 Vcore
5. up to 3.3Vmem
6. 260+ FSB

LMK when that comes out and then it's time to buy no matter what socket that board calls for.
Everything on that list except Soundstorm are most likely possible, if not stock, through board mods and ClockGen. Soundstorm is another matter entirely. There are vague rumors that nV is working on the return of the APU in some incarnation, but wether it'll be an add-in card, chipset feature, or gone for good who knows???

DP- I don't think I want to to board mods and clock gens. Just want a muture solution like a half dozen nforce2 boards are right now who can do all these things (HT exempt).

Considering how long sktA nF2 boards have been around I'd say things are progressing nicely for A64 chipsets. AGP/pci lock, 1000HT, and 260+fsb are already here, and some boards coming will doubtless have sick voltage options. As stated though, SS is problematic at best, manufacturers chose to go another route for audio so SS is gone for the foreseeable future.
