Exactly, I was trying to find out info in socket939 Semprons.... :disgust:😕:roll:

No he told me he was killing it....

We can start a new thread if we wish...threads that get too long are a pain for some to enjoy it with slower internet...I agre lets start new and perhaps leave the flames out like this thread became at the end

WTF, the idiots can't tell the difference between HT positively affecting performance, and the Windows scheduler negatively affecting performance. Needless to say, I didn't read the whole thing; the first page was bad enough. :roll:

i dont understand the thread. amd is winning EVERy test since the software priority thread problems have been fixed. boo hoo you had to do 2 extra steps. AMMd is still superior performance wise.

"Now that we have all the data from the individual tests in the last few days, what can we say about performance? AMD is in the lead for all four applications.

* Data compression with WinRAR: AMD system has 29.5% better performance;
* MP3 encoding of the CD: AMD system has 4.7% better performance;
* DivX encoding of the DVD: AMD system has 28.2% better performance;
* 3D game Farcry: AMD system has 21.4% better performance. "

sorry to dig up this thread, but, when are the 939 semprons supposed to be out? I know that OEM's have it, but when will we be able to purchase the processors alone?

Not sure. I'd love to see them, though, if they will be nearly as cheap as the s754 variants.
