im going to get the amd 64 3500+ along with Corsair XMS DDR500, PC4000.. and i am not sure whether i should get the MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum or the ASUS A8V Deluxe, because i want to get a motherboard that can support DDR500, and the default max for them is ddr400 i think? and i am not sure if u can increase it to ddr500... any suggestions? thanks!
 
ddr 500 is not an official standard put forth from amd so it won't be supported by any. both of those should be able to reach that fine. if you are into performance i'd get the msi. I know msi has had a lot of quality control problems in the past, but i think the k8neo is good, so if stability is a major issue, then maybe consider the asus.
