Socket 939 discontinue?

They claim skt 939 is being discontinued. So they send you a board slated to be cancelled even sooner???? :confused:

Socket 754 is going to be discontinued any day now & while skt 939 has been around a long time, its not going anywhere for at least a year & my bet would be closer to two years before getting mb's becomes an issue...these people either don't know what they are talking about or are trying to rip you off... neither one is ok & you really should post the name of the vender so we know never to do business with them.

Uh, no. AMD still has yet to produce their socket 939 Semprons. It's got a long life ahead of it until they start producing socket AM2 Semprons a long time from now.

there is nothing wrong with upgrading behind the latest tech, it saves you lots of $ :)

I am also interested in knowing who the supplier is so that I don't waste my time with them.
