i have a socket 478 board, is celeron socket 478 and compatible with a 478 socket board?

I know there are both socket 478 celerons and pentiums, but I don't know about the boar compatability question. I don't know jack about intel, but it would seem to make sense that if it's the same socket, it would be compatable.

Not all socket 478 boards support all socket 478 Celerons. You need to check for Celeron support in the board specs.
