This is a really basic question, but...

If my motherboard is limited to a 400MHz bus, does that mean I have to stick with a CPU with 400MHz bus speed? In other words, I can get a faster CPU but with higher bus speed with the same socket 478 configuration; would it not work at all, work but not a full capacity, or do I just stick with the 400MHz options (assuming I stick with the same motherboard)? 😕

I've got a FIC VC11. I have not had the rebooting problems that I've seen some people complain about.
