Socket 370 heatsink and fan for Socket-A CPU... good idea???

I have a socket 370 thermaltake orb heatsink and fan. It looks really nice so i really want to make some use of it. I am wondering if it would be a good idea to put it on my socket-A Athlon 1.2ghz cpu. Are the width/length specs the same for socket 370 and socket A? Will it help in minimizing heat or make it worse?

Woah. None of the orb HSF were all that great. The original golden orb was fine for it's day, but that day was 1st gen PIII.

Athlon 1.2 is a very toasty chip. Don't put an orb on it, especially not an early orb, that's just asking for a fried CPU.
