I would go with msi. I've had good luck with them lately. Can't recommend a specific board; still using amd.

The UD3's second PCI-E is only a 4x, since you are building for gaming, I'd suggest you go for the P55A-UD4P, which has one 16x PCI-E and one 8x PCI-E

The OP is only using one video card therefore doesn't need his second PCI-express slot at x8 or x16.

GIGABYTE P55A-(any model)

EDIT: the A after P55 as in P55A means it has USB 3.0 and SATA 6GB/s which is awesome.

I've had good luck with my EVGA P55FTW and Asus P7P55 Pro motherboards. Both are extremely stable and have a good layout. I have not tried any of the Gigabyte P55 boards but did have a few EP45-UD3P motherboards and really liked those as well. I am sure the same quality is carried over in the P55 boards, so I would not hesitate to get a P55 Gigabyte board also.

Gigabyte P55A-UD4P

That is the board I am probably going to go with when my i7 comes in.

The UD3 is decent too, but as stated above, 4x PCI-E, worse audio codec, no Firewire or eSATA, 2 less USB ports, and I believe single LAN port. (UD4P has 2 I think)
