Im putting together a mid range gaming pc, im basing it on a i5-750 cpu, 4gb's of 1600 ram, im looking for a good board in the 100-150 price range, im only going to use 1 video card (no sli), ive had good luck with asus in the past but im looking for ideas.
I've had good luck with my EVGA P55FTW and Asus P7P55 Pro motherboards. Both are extremely stable and have a good layout. I have not tried any of the Gigabyte P55 boards but did have a few EP45-UD3P motherboards and really liked those as well. I am sure the same quality is carried over in the P55 boards, so I would not hesitate to get a P55 Gigabyte board also.
That is the board I am probably going to go with when my i7 comes in.
The UD3 is decent too, but as stated above, 4x PCI-E, worse audio codec, no Firewire or eSATA, 2 less USB ports, and I believe single LAN port. (UD4P has 2 I think)
