We are born, then we die. In between there is the race to "live," "love" and be "happy." In that vein, we create homes, amusements and the increasing desire to have "security." Yet in the end, the most inevitable outcome is our own passing away. We then justify this with the idea of legacies and we do it for the children. Yet they too pass away. Then we say we do it for "society" for "mankind" yet all of that can be wiped away by a tsunami, earthquakes or the possible asteroid to the planet not unlike that of the dinosaurs. We sit in coffee shops or online forums, we talk and we talk, yet what is it we are striving for, to justify that we mean something to someone else, that they listen and value what we have to say before we pass away.
Just my two cents today....you go 28 years of your life and you come to realize some things, me personally at least, that people that said they love you, that are your family, don't really value you like you thought. As long as you are the good son, and do what you are told to do, then everything is okay. But the moment you disagree, or do better then they did, you are resented and at times, even hated. And yet when confronted with the truth, they deny it and proclaim they only want everyone to be happy. Complete rubbish I say.
