sky is a orange type hue======> fires are releasing a lot of smoke and ash into the atmosphere along with the marine layer coming in from the ocean, we got like a blanket effect in which a hazy day gets the dusk effect (from the sunlight reflecting/adsorbed off the ash and smoke residues). there you go.
The best part about Rancho Cucamonga is that they have a minor league baseball team called the Cucamonga Quakes and their field is called the Epicenter

There was a fire behind my house and the smell of burnt sh!t stayed there for about 2 to 3 weeks. EVERYTHING smelled like ashes.
Remember back when there were massive wildfires in Canada and such? I live in MA, so we had yellow skies for a day or two, and everything that was supposed to be illuminated green (traffic lights, etc.) turned a bright blue shade. It was pretty cool, but smelled a little funny.

air quality is horrid. my car is covered in soot. the sky is a sick orange haze. it feels like that horror movie with all the zombies.

seriously, it's really weird out here in orange county. it was noon and seemed like dawn. at least now it just looks like a cloudy day. ashes are all over the place around my apartment--worst of all my car is covered in em. it's literally snowing ashes--i can see little bits falling down and floating around outside. ah well...
As long as the fire doesn't find its way towards Riverside, oh well. Always nice to step outside, look at the hills, and see orange ablaze on the mountaintops.
