SoCal PacBell/Cingular users: do you get a signal in Lake Arrowhead/Big Bear?

I'm planning to head up to Lake Arrowhead and then possibly to Snow Summit to meet up with some people to go boarding. Had anyone gotten a reliabe signal with their pacbell/cingular service in that area? I may need to call them to make sure I know where they are so I can meet up with the others. Also, does anyone know how to get from Lake Arrowhead (a street called Matterhorn, to be exact) to Snow Summit? I will make a separate post.

If you dont have digital signla, and your phone has ananlog.. pay roaming and use it.

I was up at Cedar Lake at Big Bear I was getting full bar up there..

re: directions to Snow Summit...

Just head back out to 'Rim of the World'(Hwy. 18), and head east (further up the mountain), until you get to Snow Summit.

Follow Hwy. 18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam. Stay on Big Bear Blvd. through the Big Bear Village or turn left on Paine Rd., which turns into Big Bear Blvd. Stay on Big Bear Blvd. to Summit Blvd. and turn right. Follow this road to Snow Summit.
