It's not blazing, but I think it's an OK deal. They sell for $99 on Handspring's page. I got a refurb from Handspring and it looks and acts brand new. Of course, YMMV.... 🙂
 
There's a sale @ the Dallas Fry's too, just had a friend pick me up an 8mm camcorder (Sharp refurb) for $188-Bday present for my 12 year old🙂
 
Do you guys know if the Printer and 24x Burner are still in stock?? Can be any store. I just want to get a general idea if they are going quick. I won't be able to go to Fry's till later.
 
soo does this Motherboard have on board Lan? How good is this motherboard.. i noticed it says 2 dimm slots but in the picture looks like theres 3 slots
 
Be careful about buying more than one item. I went today and the ad specifically stated "Limit one per customer" on several of the items. However, some other sale items did not have that condition and the sales rep stubbornly refused to sell me more than one on the ones that had no written condition about limiting me to one. I'm pretty pissed about that.

Just came back from Anaheim store, bought the p4 1.5/via mobo deal. Came out to $171 plus change. P4 boxed 1.5 came out to 117, and Via mobo priced at 42. Didnt see that 24x burner unfortunately. The store wasn't as packed as I thought it would be today. No line at all at 1:30pm.

yupyup, go anteaters!!! I'm a second yr ICS major, although I'm still finishing off my first yrs ICS classes 😉 I litterally got the LAST gf3 card they had, or at least the last one that wasn't opened box at the fountain valley store. For those people wondering, the geforce 3 is a MSI brand one, it comes in a white box but has all the cables and manuals and CD's that the retail boxed one would come with. Hope that helps!

at the SD Frys still had about a half dozen to a dozen nvidia cards (MSI brand as well) left an hour or so

up the pearl harbor double pack for 15.99, can always trade 'em)

I just came from the SD Fry's and I bought the xp 1700 with motherboard combo. Boy was the line long to request the cpu. This will be my first AMD system (i'm upgrading from a celeron 633@950 system) so I hope all goes well. Hopefully I'll also see a nice performance jump.

I also picked up 512 mb DDR ram pc2100 for 100 bucks. Dreamcast games were also marked down (not in the ad): Alien Front Online for 10, Crazy Taxi for 4, and Virtua Tennis for 5. I bought the latter two.

Great stuff on sale!!
 
One unadvertised deal they have going is the 8MB cache WD 80GB drive.
$189 - $60 MIR = $129.


Would have grabbed it, but don't really need the space.
Bought too many 80GB Barracudas.

I went to the SD fry's at around 10am. I've got myself the AMD 1700+ and FIC MB combo! for 129 and picked up the PS2 tokyo highway battle game too. I was jus killing time @ Fry's just to look, but i thought this deal was pretty good so i jumped on it

there were like 5 other people buying the same combo as i was. and i told one guy about this website. you here guy????

and is this FIC MB any good?? oh wells ima head to the motherboard forum now
 
Picked up the GF3 Ti... at the anaheim store and picked up the WD 80gig 8mb for $129.99 after rebate. Then I got home...logged to pricewatch and realized that I could get the same drive OEM for the same price with no rebate at allstarmicro.com. Wasn't going to buy it until I realized they had will call and were 5 minutes from my house. Now I don't have to wait forever for a rebate.

they had a TEAC dolby digital reciever.. for 89 bucks.. its refurbished but i think its pretty good.. it has front a/v inputs as well.. however they were all sold out in all the bay area stores.. DAMN IT..
