Where does SoB save its partially completed Proth test? I wanted to take a test to a faster machine (I'm only planning to complete one for now), but when I copied the SoB directory, it didn't find the WU.

Edit: This was the Windows GUI, but I'm curious about Linux, too, although I haven't tried it yet.

the best i have been able to glean, it is placed into the registery and some files that are hard to find

basically, SoB is a SoB to try and sneakernet/save the work if you have to redo your box

good luck

The file zXXXXXXX is the "WU". That is the number that's being worked on.

And I believe that the Reg Key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\LhDn\sob\cache is how far it's done etc

But i've not done this before, so not too sure :)

Let me know if this works :)

Linux is easier (well, duh ;)), no registry crap . There are just files 'zXXXXXXX' and 'cache' in the directory in which you run sb.

Thanks! I'll take a look at the registry tomorrow.

I'm also glad it's simpler in Linux. I'm thinking about setting up a sneakernet SoB disk (or two). :)

It worked! :) Thanks, guys! Now you can assimilate people with just this .reg file, if Windows Media Player would stop popping up to read it.
