Very well done Stats Page MM.

Now if this &@^% client would just get fixed so my P4 HT crunchers
could at least come up to a AMD K6-2 350Mhz performance. ;)
Wouldn't that be so extra special.

Ok, whoops. Leapt into the lead with a dump there. Believe me, I'm *not* doing 8M :D

Ken's proxy is going to make this hilariously interesting ;) Due to it working a little differently than I expected, I dumped about the equivalent of 20 hours' work on an 1800+ that technically ocurred before the start of the MTR. Won't happen again, honest ;)

Besides, the poor old Revolutionizers need all the help they can get ;)

this sux.. due to the p4 bug I've lost half of my fleet... 12 P4's!!!

need a new client that properly fixes the bug before i can recover those machines...

did u guys get the new client? yeah it gets rid of the 10% P4 benefit BUT IT does run on P4 :)

ive been reading 30-40% decrease with the new client... its just a bandaid version.. these computers im speaking of are in an office space and i dont get to go down there every day so I want to get a version that i can leave on them and be happy with.

Actually, based on my P4 HT rigs before and after cEMs/sec it is closer to a 35% performance hit.

Can someone give me some > 500 N numbers to compare with - AMD and P4?

My loan P4 finally finished a 490 number I had stashed (churning away at 620k cEMs/sec) and yes the speed of a new 503 number is much slower...BUT...I glanced over at the AMD boxes...

Machine - K/N - block speed
-----------------------------------
AMD-2200 - 5359/5010742 - 388k cEMs/sec (both old and new client)
AMD-1900 - 55459/5001358 - 322k cEMs/sec (old client)
AMD-2200 - 19249/5008946 - 383k cems/sec (old client)
P4-2400 - 5359/5030526 - 363k cEMs/sec (new client)


Me thinks the nature of the beast means we're at a new altitude and slower is the norm...

Oh yeah...the stats look GREAT, thanks!

I am not sure what the capin will do. I figure he might wait till the fixed client is out becuase installing it on 30+ machines will be as pain in the ***. But I am sure he will chime in at some point and let us all know. :)

My rate would be a lot better if the damn resnet wasn't so fubared. Half the time I can't connect to submit blocks.

I'm trying to study for my java test and I can't get the trainer working right.

Looks like my P4 took around a 38% hit with the new client. Guess I'll try running sob on it for awhile. I was running lifemapper since no one else on TA was.

My rate has dropped from just under 5M cEM/sec to under 3M cEMs/sec :( 11 computers/13 clients are P4 @ 1.7 or 2.6 GHz, apart from 1 dual 2.4 Xeon server at work, and a 2.4@2.7 at home.

1.1.1 is on them to get some production from them, but a nearly 40% drop is making me cry :(:(

I posted a thread on it on the SoB forum but no reply yet. The new client still crashes on my Pentium-M laptop. Anyone else running a Pentium-M and having success with the new client?

Looks like we're are still winning without me at full strength. Go Houseless Badgers!

No P-Ms here, i've got a 2GHz P4M, went for that over the P-M due to higher resolution screen
