Would there be any intrest in this? I know it should probably wait till after the SETI MTR but I wanted to know if anyone would be intrested.

All I know is with SETI having a race and they are having a Guantlet over at Ars for SoB, it has gotten me in the mood to race. 🙂
 
Sounds like a plan. I might find a little bit more incentive to coerce some friends... 😉

It's too bad our team seeminly has only 30% production on any given day. Does anyone know the percentage of the team's members that are on dial-up and DO produce?

One trend that i am seeing is that AT is a very tight knit small community. In another thread (F@H help!) someone mentioned that DPC brought online another 120 members overnight...that sort of firepower is very serious and i think all ATers need a clap on the back for fending off these big meanies 🙂

I am surprised by how small AT really is. And that we can actually keep up with some of the bigger hitters out there. I know I am doing all I can, and you guys are too. 🙂

We really need to get some recurting started.
 
in June i was about <--> that close to installing SOB as a service client on a fleet (~25 p3-750?) and about (~20 P4 2.4 533mhz bus). Ran out of time b4 the school year came to a close (Almost got network permission) and i graduated 🙁...now if only i can tap the university... :Q

I have a few friends that i believe i can sign on. Might have to do them a favor here or there but that's life!

About how fast is a 1.8 ghz P4 based on the WIllie core? i'm assuming not too much faster than my 1.2 ghz Athlon...could prolly bring 2 of these online.
 
I'd definitely be interested. I think my friends would be more willing to lend me their CPUs in a race, so they could see results in a few days instead of months. I don't have a lot of firepower to give, but I'll be in from the word go 🙂

I'm just wondering if anyone can give Remy any competition at all 😀

I also think waiting for the SETI race to finish would be prudent 😛

And lastly, TPR's gauntlet will be in October. Whether that would influence our schedule or not I don't know, but it's something to think about.

SETI race ends 8pm EST on October 31. Sounds like a good idea to let it finish first since some members do both projects.
 
I might be interested in throwing some power into a SOB MTR if you do wait until after the Seti MTR is over 🙂
 
Well I figure we at least need a stats script written up before hand since that could take a while to do. Any voluteers....MM...😉

My guess is that the best way to do this will be to take our "starting values" of our total cEMs, and then for the duration of the race, it will be current - starting, and then put these into a few teams of a few people (much like the Seti MTR is set up).

For getting teams, we can make each team have an average of x cEMs/sec (easy to get from the daily stats)
